We are VERY excited to announce that bookings for our TENTH Fairtrade Conference for Primary Schools are NOW OPEN!

Since 2015 we have been running this innovative day of creative learning to celebrate Fairtrade in our region. At each event schools have taken part in a range of workshops from leading practitioners to deepen their understanding of Fairtrade and the difference it makes to producer communities. We’ve made a variety of artworks from recycled Fairtrade packaging – masks, mobiles, footballs, flowers, juice carton wallets to name a few; we’ve sung songs, climbed aboard a Suma delivery lorry, written poetry, planted seeds, and tasted lots of chocolate.

Much more is planned for 2025! Will you join us? Open to 12 schools, we invite you to bring 8 students and up to 2 members of staff for a full day of learning. The conference empowers people with the knowledge that choosing Fairtrade is best for people and planet. Each delegate takes part in four interactive workshops linking Fairtrade and sustainability to curriculum subjects. Students and teachers alike will be inspired to take little steps to change the world and carry the messages of Fairtrade out to school communities.

The conference costs £150 for each school to attend. We are offering a 10% early bird discount if booked before October half term.
