Become a fairandfunky partner!

fairandfunky is more than an ordinary business, we are a community interest company empowering people to take their own little steps to change the world. Lead by Helen Robinson and Sophie Root, supported by a team of directors, we design and deliver a wide range of workshops and projects with schools and community groups on sustainability, climate action, recycling, and Fairtrade. Our innovative and creative approach to learning helps us deliver engaging sessions to people of all ages and abilities.

“Tactile involvement for the children means they can relate to how small steps help the whole world. We really enjoyed learning about sustainability and how to improve our environment.”  Hillside Primary School

We facilitate a wide range of workshops with schools across the UK and over the last 12 years we have also worked with several community organisations to run engaging projects; bringing people together to celebrate their sense of place. With us people experience shared moments of learning through creativity, as we encourage families and communities to take positive action and contribute to society in active ways.

“It was great to see so many kids getting hands on and engaged. Congratulations on a well organised event that really got young people involved in understanding the causes and solutions to climate change in a relaxed and fun space.” Holme Valley Climate Action Partnership

We work with a number of local businesses to bring our work to a wider audience, and with the new fairandfunky partner packages, your workplace/business can get involved in a variety of ways too. Each package gives you the opportunity to give back to your community with investment in social vision and values by supporting our work. By working with fairandfunky you are demonstrating your commitment to sustainability and taking your own little step to change the world.

“We were delighted to be able to support our local community and school by sponsoring a fairandfunky workshop for students at Honley CE (VC) Junior, Infant and Nursery  School. Sustainability is something we, at Social Progress, feel passionately about. Not only do we constantly look for ways to be more sustainable in our own business but feel it’s important to help future generations understand how we can all make a difference by our own individual actions and choices.” Janet Bebb, Social Progress.

From just one school and the meetings fairandfunky facilitated we have forecasted £5k of extra business. Stafflex and fairandfunky share many of the same values and the relationship has gone from strength to strength over the years. I am sure we will continue this partnership for many years to come!” Nemi Alexis, Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager
