‘Change The World with an Egg Box’ is an engaging creative workshop bringing the 6 R’s of sustainability alive for students*
This innovative workshop is varied in activity combining enterprise skills with team building and DT to develop geographical knowledge on local and global environments. Students discuss climate change and global warming, and are challenged to design and make a world-changing machine from recycled materials. The workshop culminates in presentations to peers in a ‘Dragons Den’ style format.
“A well organised workshop encouraging creativity and collaborative learning. The workshop created great opportunities for pupils to work as a team, to design and build their own machines; and gave a real sense of how we can all make change in local and global environments.” Archibald Primary School – Teacher Feedback.
