FREE SCRAPtastic Book for each school booking!
An interactive and creative workshop that delves into the world of plastics; discovering the history and uses of plastic and how to combat the environmental problems of plastic the world faces today. The workshop looks at recycling in depth with brilliant child centred activities throughout the session.
The workshop enables participants to develop their speaking and listening skills; to talk about their opinions and explain their views. Students also develop a sense of social justice and moral responsibility; recognising their sense of place in the world.
Each student designs and creates their own individual artwork from recycled materials, alongside a larger collaborative piece to be displayed in school.
“Really informative and engaging; my students were constantly being inquisitive into the topic and asking lots of questions. A wonderful, educational workshop that really engages the children to change the world!” Carlinghow Primary School – teacher feedback
